Diafra Sakho to Sunderland?
Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce is eager to link up West Ham United striker Diafra Sakho this summer. The Senegalese international had a disappointing second season with the Hammers.
'Big Sam' was in charge at the East London side when the player arrived from French minnows Metz for £3.5m in 2014. He followed to impress in his debut campaign netting 10 goals in the top flight.
However, his second year has been a mixed one with injuries and loss of form affecting his chances of securing a regular role under present boss Slaven Bilic.
According to The Mail, Allardyce is eyeing a reunion with the 26-year-old and he is prepared to offer a fee of around £10m to land his services over the summer.
The Black Cats are likely to be busy in the transfer market following yet another close escape from relegation.
