Leicester City make fresh bid for Wissam Ben Yedder

Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has renewed his interest in Toulouse striker Wissam Ben Yedder; faced with the prospect of losing Jamie Vardy to Arsenal. Ben Yedder is one of Ligue 1's in form strikers.

After bagging 17 goals in 35 games in the league for Toulouse last season, Ben Yedder caught the eye of many of the continent's top sides and Premier League champions Leicester City were no exception. With Claudio Ranieri hoping to build on the successes of last season; the Italian coach is hoping to bring in top talent as he prepares for the Champions League.

Wissam Ben Yedder is valued at around 8.5 million euros by Toulouse. The former French under 21 international has spent his entire professional career with his current club and has two years remaining on his contract.
