Chelsea bid for Alvaro Morata
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte wants to make Alvaro Morata his big money signing this summer and has reportedly tabled an offer of 45 million euros. The Juventus and Spain player has three years remaining on his contract in Turin.
The Blues are to spend a significant amount of money on new players this summer and are set to open their cheque book with a move for former Real Madrid forward Morata. Arsenal were rumoured to have shown interest in the Spanish striker but have instead decided to make a bid for Leicester City forward Jamie Vardy.
Morata, who is believed to be desperate for a move to the Premier League, is one of Europe's most highly rated young forwards and is known to be a fan of newly appointed Chelsea boss Conte.
