Tottenham Hotspur not keen on Mario Gotze

Tottenham Hotspur are no longer in the running to sign Bayern Munich outcast Mario Gotze. The German has been widely tipped to leave the Bavarian giants in the current transfer window.
New Bayern boss Carlo Ancelotti has placed Gotze in the transfer market this summer after he failed to produce the goods during the previous campaign.
Early reports suggested that Liverpool were looking to land the World Cup winner with former Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp keen on a reunion with the midfielder.
However, the Reds have since pulled out of the chase with Dortmund and Tottenham Hotspur rumoured to be interested in Gotze's signature.
The London Evening Standard now claims that Spurs have followed a similar trend, and have decided to look at options elsewhere, thereby leaving BVB a clear route to their former player.
Gotze has netted 36 goals in his last three seasons for the German champions. He was also part of the German side that were knocked out by France at semi-final stage of Euro 2016.
