Marko Arnautovic to Everton?

Stoke City striker Marko Arnautovic has emerged as a surprise target for Everton in this summer's transfer window. The Austrian was the stand-out performer for the Potters during the previous campaign.

Arnautovic enjoyed his best-ever season in the Premier League last term as he netted 11 goals in 34 outings for Mark Hughes' side.

The 27-year-old is currently in the final year of his contract at the Britannia Stadium, and talks over an extension have stalled due to his hefty wage demands.

According to The Sun, Toffees boss Ronald Koeman has been a huge admirer of the player's talents, and will look to wrap up a cut-price deal for his services this summer.

Arnautovic has appeared in over 100 appearances for the Potters since his switch from Werder Bremen in 2013.
