Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva off to Galatasaray

Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva is on his way to Turkish side Galatasaray according to reports from Istanbul. The Brazilian has been told he is free to leave Anfield.

The long serving defensive midfielder is no longer required by Jurgen Klopp and has been told he is free to find a new club. Reports indicate that Cim Bom Bom will pay around 3.2 million GBP to secure the signature of Leiva and the player will be rewarded with a 3 year contract in Turkey.

Leiva has played 222 times for the Anfield side, scoring 1 goal and has a year remaining on his contract on Merseyside.
