Arsenal target on verge of PSG switch
Wolfsburg playmaker Julian Draxler is closing in on a move to Paris Saint-Germain in this summer's transfer window. The German international has been a long-term target for Arsenal.
The 22-year-old has expressed his desire to leave the Bundesliga side this month, and this seems to have caught the eye of the French champions.
According to The People, Les Parisiens have lodged a formal offer for the World Cup winner, who is currently valued in the £50m range.
Draxler currently has four years left on his existing deal, having only joined Wolfsburg from Schalke 04 last season. The attacker netted six times in 23 league outings for the Wolves in his debut campaign.
He was recently part of his national side that reached the semi-finals of the European championships in France.
