Samir Nasri nearing Besiktas move

Besiktas are close to finalizing a loan agreement for Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri. The Frenchman is deemed surplus to requirements at the Etihad.

According to The Sun. the 29-year-old has entered negotiations with Besiktas in a bid to secure first-team football this season.

Nasri was excluded from Pep Guardiola's Champions League squad earlier this month after he was accused of putting on extra weight on vacation.

He has since attracted interest from a whole host of Italian clubs but none are interested in buying his services outright.

Besiktas are expected to secure a temporary deal for the attacker with the obligation for a permanent £17m switch at the end of the campaign.

Since joining from Arsenal in 2011, Nasri has appeared in 170 games for the Mancunian giants.
