Barcelona end Bellerin pursuit
Barcelona have ended their interest in re-signing former graduate Hector Bellerin from Arsenal. The 21-year-old joined the Gunners from the famous La Masia academy in 2011.
The full-back was the subject of an approach from his old club following an impressive showing that earned him a call-up with Spain for the European championships in France.
However, the youngster showed no intention of rejoining the Spanish champions, and this seems to have pulled the plug on any future move for his services, Mundo Deportivo claims.
Bellerin has made the right-back position his own over the past year, and they are signs he could be offered an improved contract at the Emirates with his existing deal due to expire in three years' time.
He was also picked in the PFA Team of the Year last term as the Gunners finished runners-up to Leicester City for the league title.
