The 35-year-old had signed a one-year extension earlier this summer when many felt that his time at Stamford Bridge could be up.
According to The Mail, the former England international will head through the exit door at the end of the season with the Blues already lining up possible options.
Burnley defender Michael Keane, who was the subject of multiple bids from Leicester City this summer, is said to be the first on Antonio Conte's radar.
Meanwhile, Middlesbrough's Ben Gibson is the other, who has tipped for a potential move to West London next season.
Terry is likely to pursue his career in Major League Soccer once he ends his two-decade long association with Chelsea.
