Arsenal eyeing winter deal for Lacazette?

Arsenal could step up their interest in Alexandre Lacazette in the New Year after he stalled on talks over a fresh contract at Lyon. The 25-year-old wants a buy-out clause in his new deal, something which Les Gones are reluctant to include.
The France international had been the subject of £40m bids from Arsenal and West Ham United over the summer, but Lyon were adamant they would not offload their asset for anything less than £57m.
Sources in France suggest that Lyon are willing to offer a fresh contract to Lacazette which will see him earn wages of around £100,000-a-week.
However, the striker has no thoughts of penning an extension unless the Ligue 1 club place a fair buy-out clause in his contract.
As things stand, the Gunners could get their man in the January transfer window for a similar sum which was turned down last month.
Lacazette has been in prime form for Lyon this term netting six goals in just four league games.
