Has Cesc Fabregas already chosen his next destination?
According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas could be on his way to AC Milan on temporary basis this winter. The Spain international has seen his playing time reduced since Antonio Conte took over the reigns this summer.
Fabregas, 29, is currently on the fringes of the first-team and looks unlikely to start unless one of N'Golo Kante, Nemanja Matic or Oscar go through an injury phase.
Calciomercato suggests that the Rossoneri have a verbal agreement with the Chelsea to sign the World Cup winner, and an initial loan deal will go through when the transfer window reopens in January.
It is added that the San Siro outfit will have the option of turning the deal into a permanent one, should the Spaniard make the required number of appearances to activate a clause in his contract.
Fabregas has made notable impact coming from the substitutes' bench in recent games, but Conte is adamant he will not play him from the starting line-up.
The former Arsenal man has made nearly 100 appearances for Chelsea since linking up from Barcelona in 2014.
