Bayern Munich want Jurgen Klopp as next boss
Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich are already lining up Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp as their next manager, according to reports.
The Daily Star is reporting that German champions Bayern Munich want Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp to be their next manager, despite only having hired Italian tactician Carlo Ancelotti this summer.
Ancelotti has made a 100 per cent start to life at the Allianz Arena, and there is no suggestion that his job is under threat any time soon.
But Bayern are renowned for their organisation and forward planning, and are already reportedly looking at their ideal options for manager to eventually replace Ancelotti, whenever the former AC Milan and Chelsea boss leaves Bavaria.
And Klopp is thought to be top of their list.
Bayern will be more than familiar with the charismatic German’s coach’s work, after he helped Borussia Dortmund pip the Munich club to the Bundesliga title in 2011 and 2012.
And Klopp has continued to impress since his move to the Premier League with Liverpool. The Reds have made a strong start to the season, having already recorded wins over Arsenal and Chelsea, while earning a credible draw against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane.
Other contenders to eventually take the hot seat at the Allianz Arena are 29-year-old Hoffenheim manager Julian Nagelsmann and Borussia Dortmund’s Thomas Tuchel, who have both impressed in the Bundesliga in recent years.
