Liverpool interested in PSG defender
Liverpool are showing keen interest in pursuing the services of Paris Saint-Germain sensation Presnel Kimpembe. The young centre-half has become a regular at the Parc des Princes this season.
The 21-year-old was the subject of strong interest from the likes of Chelsea and AS Monaco over the summer whilst Liverpool were keeping tabs on the player's developments.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is eager to bolster his backline, and it appears that he will step up the club's chase for the player in January.
Kimpembe is currently playing back-up to Thiago Silva and Marquinhos for a role in the heart of the defence, and Les Parisiens are likely to fend off interest from his suitors by offering him a fresh five-year contract.
The France Under-21 international has appeared in 17 games in all competitions for Paris Saint-Germain till date.
