Diego Costa misses his former club
Chelsea striker Diego Costa has admitted that he misses playing in Spain amid his failure to rejoin Atletico Madrid in the summer.
Atleti president Enrique Cerezo had made an attempt to resign the striker in the previous transfer window but the Blues turned down their approach.
Costa, who is now on international duty with Spain, revealed he does miss plying his trade in Madrid, but his focus for now remains with the Blues.
"I do miss Spain a little, I liked Madrid a lot and have some very happy memories there but I am happy in London now," he told reporters.
He added to praise the way Atleti have progressed in La Liga and feels they have the goods to challenge on all fronts this term.
Despite the constant speculation over his future, Costa had made a bright start to the season netting six goals in eight outings for Antonio Conte's side.
