Keegan: we must show courage
Newcastle boss Kevin Keegan has called on his Toon Army to show courage if they are to ever beat Arsenal in the FA Cup today at the Emirates, and believes his team can cause the hosts enough problems to grab a result.
"It's a terrific tie for us," said the 56-year-old boss.
"If you thought about the places where we could go there can't be too many harder.
"The cup throws up shocks at times and for most people it would be a shock.
"But I've said to the players this week, 'What do we want to go there and do?'
"Obviously the aim is to still be in the competition come 5pm on Saturday.
"But we have to be courageous when we have the ball and try to cause them problems.
"We've got the players to do that. It's no good asking players such as Michael Owen, Charles N'Zogbia, Damien Duff and James Milner to go there and sit back and try to get a goalless draw."
