Napoli turn to Emmanuel Adebayor
Napoli have set their sights of signing free-agent Emmanuel Adebayor after Arkadiusz Milik sustained a knee injury on international duty.
The 32-year-old is on the search for a new club since his release from Crystal Palace at the end of last season.
According to Ansa.it, the Togo international could earn a lifeline this month with Napoli seemingly keen on his services.
Summer recruit Milik had been the bright spot for the Naples outfit this term, but with him sidelined for five months with a knee problem, there is the lack of sufficient back-up to Manolo Gabbiadini.
The former Arsenal man was tipped to join Ligue 1 giants Lyon last month before a disagreement over his involvement at the African Cup of Nations put the deal to a close.
Adebayor notched a solitary goal during his short stint with Crystal Palace this year.
