Multiple reports circulating online suggest that Chelsea manager Antonio Conte could be on the verge of being sacked, after several bookmakers have made him favourite to be the be the next Premier League manager to lose his job.
Some betting outlets have even suspended betting on the Italian coach’s future following a spate of money laid down on the possibility of him being sacked imminently.
The former Juventus manager only took charge at Stamford Bridge this summer after guiding the Italian national team to the quarter finals of the UEFA European Championships in France, where his side were eliminated by Germany on penalties.
Chelsea has suffered an indifferent start to the season after a disappointing mid table finish in the last campaign.
The Blues currently sit seventh in the Premier League on 13 points, trailing Manchester United on goal difference and five points behind leaders Manchester City.
