Midfielder sees his future away from Arsenal
England international Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has admitted that he could leave Arsenal in search for first-team football. The 23-year-old has seen minimal playing time under Arsene Wenger this season.
The former Southampton graduate has been a regular on the substitutes' bench this term with the form of Alex Iwobi and Theo Walcott playing a key part in the manager's decision.
While speaking to reporters, the attacker insisted that he is assessing his position at the Emirates, and could be tempted to leave the club come the end of the campaign.
“There comes a time when you have to reevaluate things and think whether that's going to be here or elsewhere. I'm not there at the moment, " he said.
“Players reevaluate their personal situation. And I will do that at the end of the season and see what's happening."
Oxlade-Chamberlain has not quite reached the heights since his maiden campaign with the Gunners, and he is now no more than a back-up option.
He has turned out more than 150 times for Arsenal following his move from Southampton in 2011.
