Sevilla set price for Everton target
Sevilla are willing to cash in on Steven N'Zonzi in January, provided any club matches his £35m valuation. The Frenchman was a transfer target for Leicester City in the summer.
N'Zonzi, who has previously featured for Stoke City and Blackburn Rovers in the Premier League, has emerged as a transfer option for Everton boss Ronald Koeman.
Idrissa Gueye and Gareth Barry have combined well in the heart of the midfield this season, but with the latter approaching the final years of his career, Koeman is eager to recruit a long-term replacement.
James McCarthy seems to have no future at Goodison Park, and he will make way for the Merseysiders to sign a player in the New Year.
N'Zonzi is currently valued in the £25m range, but Sevilla are prepared to offer him a wage hike which will include a £35m buy-out clause in his contract.
The 27-year-old has yet to capped at international level having snubbed the chance to represent DRC Congo on several occasions.
