Arsenal lining up Yaya Toure move?
Arsenal are preparing a surprise move to sign Manchester City outcast Yaya Toure. The 33-year-old is no longer in the plans of Pep Guardiola.
The Ivory Coast international has not featured for the Citizens ever since his agent Dimitri Seluk accused Pep of treating his players like dogs.
According to The Mirror, the veteran is expected to leave the Etihad in the New Year with interest high among clubs in Italy and China.
However, the Gunners could have a say in the chase with manager Arsene Wenger still a huge fan of the player's talents.
Toure had a trial with the North London outfit in the summer of 2003, but his failure to earn a work permit urged him to pursue his career elsewhere.
The former Barcelona man is approaching the final six months of his contract, and he would be available on cut-price deal in the New Year. He has appeared in 267 outings for Manchester City till date.
