Chelsea eye winter deal for Inter midfielder

Chelsea are planning a winter raid for Inter Milan midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia. The French midfielder is also on the radar of Liverpool.
Kondogbia, 23, had turned down the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool to join the Nerazzurri from AS Monaco in 2015.
Since then, he has struggled to earn sufficient playing time at San Siro and it is believed that he could depart the Nerazzurri at the start of 2017.
According to The Mirror, Blues boss Antonio Conte is prepared to lodge an attempt for the midfielder in January as he bids to add a robust midfielder to his ranks.
The Italian does not want to rest on his laurels despite a strong start to the campaign, and will seek to strengthen his squad further in the winter transfer window.
Inter Milan are currently managed by former Lazio coach Stefano Poli, who succeeded Frank de Boer on Tuesday.
