West Ham in talks to sign Fabregas?
West Ham United are currently favourites to secure a short-term loan for Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas. The Spain international has made a single league start for the Blues this season.
Fabregas, 29, has been tipped to pursue a fresh challenge elsewhere despite his reluctance to leave Stamford Bridge this term.
Widespread sources reveal the Hammers are frontrunners to sign the talented playmaker in January with the Blues prepared to subsidize a major chunk of his £160,000 weekly wages.
The former Arsenal man had previously declined a move to AC Milan in the summer with a view to fighting for his place under Antonio Conte.
However, things have not gone as planned with a thigh injury restricting his progress whilst the likes of N'Golo Kante and Nemanja Matic have cemented their berth in the centre of the park.
Fabregas has amassed over 100 outings for Chelsea since arriving from Barcelona in the summer of 2014.
