Thibaut Courtois content at Chelsea
Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has insisted that he is content with his stay at Stamford Bridge. The Belgian previously revealed his desire to return to Madrid.
Courtois, 24, had claimed in September that he would be interested in a move back to La Liga where he had fond memories with Atletico Madrid between 2011 and 2014.
European champions Real Madrid were deemed to be interested in the shot-stopper in the summer, but when questioned on the link, Courtois seemingly denied any contact with Zinedine Zidane's side.
"I never had anything with Real Madrid. I did not see anything published, but I never had any contact with Real Madrid," he told Cadena Cope.
"There is no reason not to be happy at Chelsea. You never know what will happen in the future, but at the moment I am very well, in a very good atmosphere."
Courtois has owned the number one role at Chelsea since he arrived from his three-year loan spell at Vicente Calderon in 2014.
