Roma, Galatasaray battle for Debuchy
Arsenal full-back Mathieu Debuchy is set to be offered an escape route in the New Year with AS Roma and Galatarasay interested in his services.
The France international has been excluded from the first-team squad this season with manager Arsene Wenger eager to offload him at the earliest opportunity.
According to The Star, the right-back will be offered the chance to end his dreaded Gunners spell this winter with both Roma and Galatasaray weighing up potential bids for his signature.
Roma currently have goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny on a season-long loan from the Emirates, and they will seek to utilize their association as an advantage to get hold of Debuchy.
Debuchy has had numerous injuries in his short time at Arsenal, and this has seen the emergence of Hector Bellerin from the club's youth system.
