Arsenal to loan out Lucas Perez?

Arsenal are reportedly prepared to offload striker Lucas Perez just months after his arrival from Deportivo La Coruna. The 28-year-old is currently nursing an ankle problem.

Perez has struggled to cement a regular role at the Emirates this season with Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud being ahead of him in the pecking order.

According to Calciomercato, the Gunners are willing to loan out Perez in the New Year after failing to impress under manager Arsene Wenger.

The Spaniard has been restricted to a solitary league start against Southampton this season, and his situation is unlikely to improve unless one of Alexis Sanchez or Olivier Giroud suffers a long-term injury

Perez has earned just six appearances in all competitions for Arsenal since his £17.1m switch from La Liga last summer.
