West Ham target Mario Mandzukic
Premier League strugglers West Ham United are lining up a January move for Juventus striker Mario Mandzukic.
Slaven Bilic's side have made a below-par start to the league campaign, and currently find themselves just above the bottom three.
According to The Sun, Bilic is eyeing a winter deal for Mandzukic with fellow Juventus teammate Simone Zaza struggling to impress in the Premier League.
Zaza has failed to find the net since his season-long loan switch from Turin in the summer, and it is predicted that his contract will be terminated in the New Year.
Bilic has previously worked with Mandzukic when he was the head coach of Croatia, and he would seek to take this as an advantage, should the striker pursue a fresh move in 2017.
Mandzukic is presently unhappy with his position at Juventus due to the stiff competition from the likes of Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala in the forward department.
