Olivier Giroud to stay put at Arsenal
France international Olivier Giroud will not be seeking an exit from Arsenal in the New Year, according to his agent.
The 30-year-old has yet to start a league game for the Gunners this season with manager Arsene Wenger content to utilize Alexis Sanchez in the centre-forward position.
Recent speculation suggested that the Frenchman could eye a challenge in the Serie A with both Napoli and AC Milan said to be interested in his signature.
However, agent Michael Manuello has revealed his client is not thinking of a winter exit, and will definitely remain with the Gunners for the campaign.
"I've never been in contact with Italian clubs. Olivier is very happy at Arsenal," he told Foot Mercato.
"He's going to finish his season here. Nothing is possible in January for Olivier. He has no intention of leaving this winter."
Giroud joined Arsenal from Montpellier in the summer of 2012 and has since racked 87 goals in all competitions. He currently has about 18 months left on his existing contract.
