Everton to sign Memphis Depay
Everton are reported to be nearing a permanent agreement to bring Memphis Depay to Goodison Park. The Netherlands international is no longer a regular at Manchester United.
Depay, 22, has struggled to earn himself a place in the first-team ever since Jose Mourinho took over the reigns from Louis van Gaal in the summer.
Recent speculation suggested the Dutchman could be off to the Toffees on a loan contract in the New Year, but according to Manchester Evening News, the Merseyside outfit are more close agreeing a permanent deal for the attacker.
Fellow teammate Morgan Schneiderlin is also deemed to be headed in the same direction after the Toffees negotiated a £24m sum for his transfer.
Everton have made an average start to their league campaign, but Koeman is hopeful that he can turn the club's fortunes around at the turn of the year.
