Diego Costa to stay put at Chelsea?
Spain international Diego Costa will reportedly remain at Chelsea for the campaign with the promise of being sold in the summer of 2017.
The Brazilian-born footballer is currently at odds with manager Antonio Conte, but he is willing to call a truce with the Italian for the season.
According to The Sun, the 28-year-old will hold talks with both the Blues' hierarchy and Conte in order to resolve his present situation at the club.
The striker is keen on swapping the Blues for a move to the Chinese Super League, but a transfer is likely to be put on hold until the end of the Premier League season.
Chelsea were initially planning to offer a fresh four-year deal to Costa, but their plans have not been erased with the Spaniard willing to end his association with the club in the summer.
Costa has netted 14 goals in the top flight this season, and this has helped the club secure a seven-point gap over Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool at the summit.
