Dybala confirms Juve contract talks

Juventus star Paulo Dybala has revealed that he is nearing a potential extension with the Serie A champions. The Argentina international is set to snub interest from Manchester United and Manchester City to prolong his stay in Turin.

Dybala, 23, has been an influential figure in the Old Lady attack since his move from Palermo in 2015, and he is now prepared to show his long-term commitment towards the club.

In an interview with Sky Italia, the young striker confirmed that the deal is 'very close' and it is just a matter of time before he resolves his future with the Italian holders.

"We are very close to the renewal and there is very little missing," he told Sky Italia. "My agent will come to Italy to talk about the last things with Marotta, but the will is there on our part."

Dybala has been playing second fiddle to Gonzalo Higuain for the centre-forward role but has had no influence in his decision to further his career in the Serie A.

He has netted eight goals for Juventus this season - far less from his 23 bagged during his maiden campaign last term.
