Conte admits player will leave in the summer
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte admits that young prodigy Dominic Solanke is free to leave the club at the end of the season. The teenager is on the radar of both Liverpool and Arsenal.
Solanke, 19, is currently in the final six months of his contract, and his wage demands of £50,000-a-week have put off the Blues from extending his stay.
Both the Reds and the Gunners have been previously linked with the England Under-21 international, and Conte feels the player will be allowed to pursue a new challenge in the summer.
"I think this is his will (to leave). I have spoken with him to try to understand his will. But we must have great respect for every decision that the player can take," he told reporters.
"His contract expires in June and he has the full will to stay in Chelsea or to go away."
Solanke, who has a solitary Champions League appearance to his name with Chelsea, notched seven goals on loan at Vitesse Arnhem during the previous campaign.
