Alexis Sanchez set to quit Arsenal?

Chile international Alexis Sanchez is reported to have made his mind up to leave Arsenal following a dressing room incident in midweek.

The 28-year-old is said to have expressed his anger towards his fellow teammates following their Champions League disaster in Munich which saw them lose out 5-1 to Bayern Munich despite being level at half-time.

Alexis has been mulling over the contract extension for some while, and it is said that he could snub the negotiations full and final after what was an embarrassing defeat in Europe.

According to The Sun, the attacker was seen throwing tantrums at the players, who themselves were blaming each other for the humiliating loss.

Meanwhile, Wenger's assistant Steve Bould is also alleged to have hurled a water bottle at the wall in frustration after the club conceded three goals in the space of 10 second-half minutes.

Alexis is expected to return for the FA Cup clash at Sutton on Monday night after he had left for Spain for a hearing on his tax-fraud case.
