Real Madrid ace makes stunning U-turn on EPL decision

Real Madrid playmaker James Rodriguez will not be making his move to the Premier League this summer after he decided to prolong his career at the Bernabeu. Chelsea were linked with a £60m move for the attacker during the previous transfer window.

Rodriguez, 25, was the subject of transfer speculation over the winter period with reports emerging that he had applied for a UK working visa.

However, super agent Jorge Mendes dismissed the claims by suggesting that his client would resolve his future at the end of the season.

While speaking to Football Espana, Rodriguez insisted that he would stay put at Los Blancos for many years to come as he is still realising his dream of playing for his favourite club.

Rodriguez has earned just four league starts over the campaign, but this appears to have had no impact on his future.

The Colombian international has earned close to 100 appearances for the Bernabeu outfit since arriving from AS Monaco in the summer of 2014.
