Chelsea to scout Serie A winger this weekend

Premier League leaders Chelsea will reportedly step up their pursuit of Ivan Perisic by watching him in action during Inter Milan's key clash against AS Roma.

The 28-year-old has been long linked with a Premier League move with Manchester United and Liverpool being among his suitors.

Perisic has netted seven goals and assisted a further two in the Serie A this term, but it is his influence on the pitch which has revived the Nerazzurri's league campaign.

The San Siro outfit are currently six points adrift of the Champions League places, and a victory over the Giallorossi would bring them ever closer to their season expectation.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Blues will send scouts to keep track on the 28-year-old's performance at the San Siro where the Nerazzurri hold an excellent league record of late.

Nevertheless, Antonio Conte's side will have a tough time of signing the £30m-rated winger this summer after Inter's sporting director Piero Ausilio issued a hands-off warning on Perisic.
