Club will decide my future - Aguero

Manchester City star Sergio Aguero has reportedly quelled speculation over his future by insisting that he wants to stay at the Etihad.

The 28-year-old striker had been linked with the likes of Inter Milan and Real Madrid earlier in the month after manager Pep Guardiola dropped him in favour of new signing Gabriel Jesus.

Aguero has since regained his position in the starting lineup due to the youngster's metatarsal injury and his brace and assist in the 5-3 win over Monaco has got the manager something to think about.

Following the Champions League clash, Aguero insisted that he is focused on his job with the Citizens, but his future next season would be dependent on the club's decision.

Pep had offloaded goalkeeper Joe Hart on loan earlier in the campaign despite him being a favourite among the faithful, and this clearly states that he will not entertain affection while resolving the future of his star striker.

Despite his struggles this term, Aguero has managed to net 18 goals for his side across all competitions
