Morata Looking At His Options
Alvaro Morata has warned Real Madrid that if he fails to receive more playing time between now and the end of the season, he will look to leave the Santiago Bernabeu in order to play, with several high profile clubs interested in his services.
Morata has started just seven La Liga matches for the Madrid since they operated a buy back clause in his contract, although in that time he has shown his natural ability to score goals, including the winner in Real's 3-2 winner against Villarreal recently.
Despite his obvious talent, Morata faces tough competition with the Spanish giants, including Bale, Ronaldo and Benzema. If the Spaniard, who came through the academy of the club, fails to establish himself in the starting eleven, and therefore decides to leave, he is certain to have several clubs to choose from.
Premier League clubs Arsenal and Chelsea have been alerted by the uncertainty of Morata's future. Today's Express reports that Chelsea have already tabled a bid of £34 million for Morata, although Real are said to value him at £43 million.
