PSG prepared to prise away Liverpool star
Paris Saint-Germain are plotting a summer approach to sign Liverpool's Daniel Sturridge. The French champions will seek to recruit the England international on an initial loan.
Sturridge, 27, has been largely a fringe player at the Reds this season with injuries and the lack of fitness in some way affecting his chances of earning a regular role under Jurgen Klopp.
According to The Mirror, Les Parisiens will retain their interest in the injury-plagued forward this summer as they consider him as the perfect foil for Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani.
The Ligue 1 holders are nevertheless, reluctant to offer a straight cash deal, and will propose to take him on a temporary basis with the option to buy in the summer of 2018.
Les Parisiens aren't the sole club keen on the striker with English duo West Ham United and Stoke City prepared to make offers of their own for the marksman.
Sturridge came close to an Anfield exit last summer after his representative offered him on loan to rivals Arsenal on deadline day.
