Barcelona look to Premier League to strengthen
It is set to be a summer of change at the Nou Camp ahead of next season. Despite the fact that Barcelona are still in contention to win the treble, they are on the look out for a new manager, and also reinforcements in defence and midfield to support the prolific MSN attacking force. The Spanish giants are said to have as many as four Premier League targets, three of which currently play for Chelsea.
Spanish outlet Marca reported that Barcelona scouts have been in England this week, watching Chelsea and Arsenal play, with views to signing players from both teams.
As previously reported, Arsenal full back Hector Bellerin is a target to fill the Barcelona right back position. When watching Chelsea the previous evening, it is understood that the scouts were assessing Marcos Alonso, Cesar Azpilicueta and Nemanja Matic.
Things are not going well for Arsenal at the moment, and an opportunity to play at the Nou Camp, under a new manager, whoever that may be, could be enough to tempt Bellerin away from the Emirates. However, with Chelsea performing brilliantly in the Premier League, and Champions League football at Stamford Bridge again almost guaranteed for next season, it may be harder for Barcelona to get hold of Conte's men.
