Man Utd see Romelu Lukaku as Griezmann alternative

Manchester United could be prepared to rival Chelsea for the services of Romelu Lukaku amid the uncertainty over his future at Goodison Park.
The Belgium international has recently turned down a fresh contract at Everton, and it is understood that he would depart the club under the terms of an agreement struck last summer.
Lukaku had been expected to leave the Toffees during the previous summer transfer window before he was convinced to stay with the promise of taking the club to the Champions League.
However, the Toffees are still far off from the top-four positions, and they may have to give up on their striker, who is desperate to play against Europe's best in the elite competition.
According to The Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils have an eye on signing the Belgian footballer this summer following Antoine Griezmann's reluctance to leave Atletico Madrid in the near future.
Club-captain Wayne Rooney is also said to be assessing his future at Old Trafford while Zlatan Ibrahimovic will most likely come to a conclusion over his situation depending on the final outcome of United's season.
Manchester United can qualify for the Champions League next term via a top-four finish in the league or by lifting the Europa League title.
