Everton could miss out on Gylfi Sigurdsson signing this summer
Everton boss Ronald Koeman will reportedly receive a dent in his transfer proceedings, should Swansea City preserve their Premier League status next season.
The Swans are currently three points adrift of the drop zone as they head into the final nine games of the campaign.
According to The Liverpool Echo, the Toffees have an eye on signing Gylfi Sigurdsson during the off-season, but their chances could be minimized if the Swans manage to beat the drop.
The Icelandic footballer has contributed to more than half of the Swans' goals this campaign, and his form since the turn of the year has been instrumental in their rise from the bottom.
With Ross Barkley facing an uncertain Everton future beyond the summer, Koeman is said to be lining up a move for Sigurdsson, which could yet be hampered by the Swans' existence in the top flight.
The former Tottenham Hotspur ace is currently valued at around £35m.
