Real Madrid star agrees terms over Man Utd move, De Gea heading the opposite direction?

Manchester United have reportedly agreed personal terms with James Rodriguez ahead of his proposed move to the club in the summer.

The Colombia international has largely struggled to attain a regular spot under Zinedine Zidane this season with the likes of Lucas Vazquez and Isco being preferred ahead of him in the pecking order.

According to The Star, the attacker could be on his way to Old Trafford this summer as part of a transfer agreement for David de Gea,

De Gea, 26, has been constantly linked with a move to Madrid in recent months, and it appears that he could realise the switch in the summer.

The Spain international came close to linking up with the European champions during the summer of 2015, but a delay in producing the necessary paperwork scuppered the move on deadline day.

Rodriguez is said to want the number 10 position with the Mancunian giants next season, and his arrival could urge the club to cash in on the services of all-time goalscorer Wayne Rooney.
