Chelsea striker Diego Costa has reportedly agreed a deal in principle to join Chinese club Tianjin Quanjian during the summer transfer window.

The Spain international had been the subject of a world-record £95m move from the Far East side in January, but Chelsea ultimately decided to keep hold of the 28-year-old.

Costa has since been continuously linked with a potential move to the Far East, and according to El Larguero, the Brazilian-born star has agreed on a £25m-a-year contract with Tianjin.

It is added that the Premier League leaders will receive a fee of around £75m in order to offload the former Atletico man, who has notched 57 goals in 115 outings for his current employers.

Tianjin, who are currently under the management of World Cup winner Fabio Cannavaro, have recruited the likes of Alexandre Pato, and Axel Witsel over the past transfer window.

Costa has provided 19 goals and six assists for Chelsea, who are on course to lift their fifth Premier League title - the first under Italian boss Antonio Conte.
