Arsenal target Lille defender as Bellerin replacement
Arsenal could revive their long-term interest in Lille's Sebastien Corchia when the transfer window reopens in a couple of months' time.
The 26-year-old has previously courted interest from the Gunners in the summer of 2013 whilst he was still at former club Sochaux.
According to Goal.com, the French right-back will pursue a new challenge in the upcoming transfer window with his existing contract due to expire in a year's time.
Corchia has racked over 300 appearances in the French Ligue 1 over the years, and he is now prepared to move on to a club overseas where he could develop further in his profession.
The right-sided defender earned his maiden cap for Les Bleus against the Ivory Coast late last year, and he is keen to maintain his performances in order to compete for a national team spot ahead of the 2018 World Cup.
Arsenal are currently uncertain about the future of Hector Bellerin amid interest from Barcelona, and the Spaniard's exit could see them move for Corchia in the summer.
Corchia has appeared in 35 league outings for Lille, who are placed 11th in the league standings with 43 points.
