English trio in for Yaya Toure?
West Ham United, Newcastle United, and Brighton & Hove Albion are all interested in pursuing a summer deal for Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure.
The Ivorian footballer has yet to receive a contract extension beyond the summer, and he may play his farewell game at the Etihad against West Bromwich Albion next Tuesday.
Toure, 33, has previously expressed his intention to remain at City, but his hopes look to have been dashed with a new contract far from coming.
According to The Mirror, the veteran midfielder would be keen to prolong his stay in the Premier League, and this has brought the likes of West Ham, Newcastle and Brighton into the reckoning.
Despite his trailing age, Toure has managed to maintain his work rate on the field with the FA semi-final loss to Arsenal being a particular highlight.
Toure has appeared in 22 league outings for Manchester City this season after having resolved a rift between his agent and Pep Guardiola earlier in the campaign.
