Arsenal boss planning moves for EPL duo
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is reportedly interested in signing both Riyad Mahrez and Ben Gibson ahead of this summer's transfer window.
The Gunners have had a stop-start season in the Premier League this season, but they still appear to have a decent chance of securing a Champions League qualification place.
According to The Express, Wenger is prepared to move in for the services of Mahrez and Gibson as he bids to further strengthen his current squad.
Leicester City's Mahrez had been pursued by the north London club last summer, and he could once again be the subject of interest with Wenger willing to cough up a £30m fee.
Meanwhile, Gibson, currently at Middlesbrough, has impressed the Gunners scouts with his performances this season, and he could be available for a negotiate price of around £25m this summer.
Arsenal are placed fifth in the Premier League standings with 69 points, just one adrift of Liverpool, who face a tough game at West Ham United this afternoon.
