The veteran Chelsea defender, who will be leaving at the end of the season, will likely choose Tony Pulis' side over Eddie Howe's.

The 36-year-old centre-back has found chances hard to come by under Antonio Conte and has already announced that he will leave Chelsea this summer after almost 20 years. Terry has only played 13 games in all competitions including just eight games in the Premier League.

There have been offers from LA Galaxy in the MLS, Shanghai Shenhua in the Chinese Super League and various Middle Eastern clubs with the latter two offering big-money contracts for the Chelsea skipper. However, Terry wants to stay in the Premier League and Bournemouth and West Brom have emerged as favorites.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe reportedly tried to bring him to Bournemouth on loan in January although later claiming there was barely concrete communication between the clubs.

Now, John Terry will choose between Bournemouth and West Brom as his next destination. While Bournemouth initially seemed to have the upper hand, a Telegraph report four days ago claimed that Terry has reservations about Bournemouth's ultra-attacking style of play and how it leaves them very exposed at the back. He prefers Tony Pulis' style of play where the focus on defensive organization is much higher.

If the reports are true, Terry actually makes a valid point. Bournemouth has conceded 66 goals this season, the third highest in the league after Swansea and the relegated Hull. Even bottom club Sunderland has conceded fewer goals with 64. West Brom on the other hand, have only conceded 49.

It is likely that Terry will choose his next club based on his preferred style of play instead of wages, as he currently only earns £50,000 a week at Chelsea
