Sergio Ramos does not want Mbappe at Real Madrid
The defender is against Florentino Perez splashing the cash on the Monaco youngster and has reportedly voiced his objection to the club president.
Kylian Mbappe has taken Europe by storm this season after being a revelation for Monaco. The 18-year-old scored 26 goals and assisted 14 in a stunning season which saw Monaco lift the Ligue 1 title for the first time in 17 years and reach the Champions League semi-finals.
Mbappe has become one of Europe's hottest property and it was understood that Real Madrid was among a whole host of clubs who want to acquire the services of the forward next season and are ready to splash the cash to bring the teenager to Los Blancos.
However, Spanish outlet Diario Gol has reported that Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos is against the move.
The report states the Ramos thinks Mbappe is still an unproven player and is someone with potential, but has not reached the heights that justify a move to the club that has won the European Cup for a record 11 times.
Furthermore, the report also compared Mbappe to world-record signing Paul Pogba in that the teenager's price tag will also be bloated and over what his actual valuation is. Ramos does not think he will not be worth the exorbitant price at this point in time.
