Italian champions Juventus will approach PSG for a potential deal for Argentinian winger Di Maria after the Champions League final.

According to Sky Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Turin club are already looking to strengthening their squad next season, and Massimiliano Allegri wants to start with PSG winger Di Maria.

Di Maria enjoyed another good season for the Paris-based club, scoring 13 goals in 40 appearances. However, with the signings of Julian Draxler and Goncalo Guedes, Di Maria will not be guaranteed a spot in the starting line-up and might find chances hard to come by.

The winger was partially blamed for PSG's incredible exit to Barcelona as they lost 6-1 at the Camp Nou. Di Maria was singled out for not finishing off the match with the ample chances he had.

Juventus on the other hand, are also in need for wingers. Having lost Kingsley Coman to Bayern Munich, Allegri foresees Juventus lacking pace upfront next season. The permanent signing of Juan Cuadrado from Chelsea signaled his intention to resolve the issue.

While negotiations have not begun between the two sides, it is highly likely that Di Maria will be sold for another astronomical fee, similar to his British record move to Manchester United for £59.7 million and subsequent £44 million move to PSG.
