Sead Kolasinac agrees Arsenal contract
Bosnian footballer Sead Kolasinac is on the cusp of an Arsenal move after he agreed on a £7.5m yearly package with the FA Cup holders.
The 23-year-old had reached a verbal agreement to join the Gunners as early as last month, but the player was assessing the future of manager Arsene Wenger.
Wenger is understood to have played a huge role in convincing Kolasinac to join the north London club, and the left-back wanted assurances of the Frenchman's stay before securing a free transfer.
SportBILD suggests that the German-born defender will put pen to paper on a long-term Gunners contract, and an announcement could be made in the coming days.
The arrival of Kolasinac is likely to have a direct impact on the future of Kieran Gibbs, who is a transfer target for recently-promoted Newcastle United.
Magpies boss Rafa Benitez is keen on adding the experienced full-back to his ranks, and he could be prepared to match the Gunners' £15m valuation for the England international this summer.
